To guide and supervise Taiwan’s internet protocol (IP) address and domain name registration management organizations as well as promote the internet’s healthy development, set the "Regulations for Guidance on Internet Protocol Address and Top Level Domain Name Registration Services" and "Regulations Supervising Internet Protocol Address and Top Level Domain Name Registration Services" according to Article 71 of the Telecommunications Management Act to govern issues surrounding IP address or top-level domain name registration management service providers, such as guidance measures, eligibility, conditions, application procedures, methods, required items for business rules, authorized registration management, administrative management, and other rules to follow. This allows the effective advancement of domestic IP address and domain name registration management.
