Promoting AI Adoption in the Healthcare Industry: Announcement of 2025-2026 Demonstration Cases and Call-for-Proposals Results
This project aims to promote a tripartite collaboration model of "Field Challenges + AI Technology Implementation + Collaborative Talent Cultivation." It focuses on real-world healthcare application scenarios, where ICT service providers deliver AI-driven solutions in collaboration with higher education institutions and healthcare organizations, forming a cross-domain innovation framework.
I. 2025 Implementation Results
A total of 11 potential AI demonstration cases for healthcare were approved in 2025.
- Core Objective: To address workforce shortages and operational challenges by responding to the specific needs of healthcare settings.
- Technical Solutions: These projects encompass a range of AI applications, including non-contact measurement, abnormal behavior detection and alerts, safety monitoring, and rehabilitation feedback.
II. 2026 Call-for-Proposals Status
The 2026 call-for-proposals has successfully completed its review process:
- Submission Period: December 3, 2025, to January 20, 2026 (Now Closed).
- Review Data: A total of 57 cases passed the qualification review:
- Demonstration Cases: 36 cases.
- Thematic Cases (Health Cloud): 5 cases.
- Thematic Cases (Home-based Medical Care): 16 cases.
- Approval Forecast: At least 19 cases are expected to be approved (including 15 demonstration cases and 4 thematic cases).

Summary of Application Qualifications and Regulations
Eligible Applicants: Applicants must be domestically registered sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited partnerships, or corporations (excluding foreign companies) registered in Taiwan. Tax registration industry classifications must be J582 (Software Publishing), J61 (Telecommunications), J62 (Computer Programming, Consultancy and Related Activities), or J63 (Information Service Activities).
