Voting begins for 2023 Presidential Hackathon International Track Netizen Examinants
Voting for the 2023 Presidential Hackathon International Track Netizen Examinants is underway until May 9 via the competition’s official website (https://gov.tw/cYQ).
The first-time initiative will see two Netizen Examinants from the digital and open government fields included in a nine-strong judging lineup after an online ballot. All members of the public are urged to participate and play an important part in enhancing the event’s diversity, dynamism, inclusivity and relevance.
Themed Free the Future: Open, Digital and Green, the fifth edition of the competition is overseen by the Office of President, organized by the Cabinet, implemented by the Ministry of Digital Affairs and executed by Taipei Computer Association.
Launched in 2019, the Presidential Hackathon International Track features the creative contributions of 147 teams from 34 countries to date. It is a central plank in the government’s Taiwan Can Help platform of engagement, and another example of how the moda is galvanizing global action in striving to Free the Future.
