The Project of Digital Empowerment for Expanding Senior Learning and Social Resources
1.Collaborative Efforts: This project leverages the AgePass platform to integrate and connect government-related resources for senior learning, social engagement, and daily life support through inter-agency collaboration. This allows seniors and their helpers to access senior services and resources through the AgePass one-stop portal, making senior services more visible, accessible, and user-friendly for seniors.
2.Integration of Resources: The project builds a comprehensive, diverse, and mutually beneficial senior service industry ecosystem that integrates local service providers from both the public and private sectors. It aims to reduce the time and effort spent by seniors and their helpers on information searches. It also allows helpers to communicate with seniors, arrange for their participation in activities, and address transportation, dining, assistive device, and other needs, even at a distance. The goal is to alleviate caregiver burdens and ensure barrier-free access to senior service resources.
3.Industry Promotion: The project encourages ICT service providers to invest in the development of aging technology innovative services and applications by providing government subsidies. It facilitates the alignment of service supply with demand and creates business opportunities for the active aging technology and service industry.
