The program enhances industries’ cyber security resilience with the three focuses on “promoting industry cyber security defense and response mechanism,” “reinforcing information and communication industry product cyber security,” and “enhancing solution export performance.” By strengthening information and communication industry products’ cyber security and developing independent solutions, the program strives to build a cyber security industry capable of supporting a digital country’s economy and security.

The program includes the following strategies:

1. Facilitate cyber security collaborations and innovative services, enhance industry cyber security maturity, explore domestic emerging service formats, and encourage regular service access
2. Build model cyber security testing fields, reinforce network- and Internet of Things-related industries’ cyber security capacities
3. Develop core cyber security industry capacities with Taiwanese features, build interdisciplinary cyber security solution models, promote domain-specific cyber security solutions
4. Promote cyber security registration mechanisms and independent cyber security product certifications, encourage domestic businesses to develop independent cyber security defense products
5. Assist inspected industries enhance overall cyber security defense capabilities, stimulate cyber security-related purchasing needs and industry economy, thus reinforcing industry cyber security defense power
6. Lead businesses’ participation in international cyber security standard setting meetings, create a development platform that meets international cyber security standards or regulations
7. Consolidate businesses’ capacities to stimulate international commercial cooperation
8. Implement basic mobile application cyber security certification to reinforce developers’ secure development concepts
9. Enhance IoT cyber security inspection quality and capacity
