To fulfill the demands of cross-domain digital talent from digital economy-related industries, the DIGI+ program develop a training model that focuses on five major fields in the digital economy (including, artificial intelligence, data science, internet of things, digital content, and digital marketing). The program connects industry, academic and research institutes to development the digital talent training and internship model. The program provides opportunities for university students to join the industry for industrial project-based training. Partner companies offers on-the-job training and mentors to co-cultivate talents’ digital skills and experience along with DIGI+ Talent Program. Through this training model, talents are trained to be able to launch products or services that matches the industrial needs; in the mean times, the program also assists talents to find the matching career path. The program training model creates an innovated way to accelerate digital talent training and help the industry to cultivate more cross-domain digital talents.
