Responsibilities of the Policy Planning Division are as follows:

1. Enact digital industrial policies and regulations in response to the global digital economic trends and in reference to digital development policies of other countries to promote industries’ digital transformation and global competitiveness
2. Understand domestic digital talent demand and supply, build an integrated mechanism combining training, evaluation, and employment to lay a solid foundation for Taiwan’s digital economy
3. Promote international cooperation in digital economy-related topics, join and exchange with like-minded countries initiatives and digital economic development issues, create and promote international industrial collaboration strategies, enhance digital economy-related industries’ international visibility and influence, and generate new opportunities for Taiwan’s digital economy-related industries
4. Set program management standard operation procedures according to relevant policies and regulations, use digital platform tools to assist with program administration, effectively managing progress and results and thus enhancing overall performance
