2024 adi15 Digital Startups Awards Ceremony Showcasing Startups' Advanced AI Technology and Global Ambitions
Today, 2024 adi15 Digital Startups Awards Ceremony was held by the Administration for Digital Industries (ADI), the Ministry of Digital Affairs (MODA). Minister Yennun Huang announced the awarding of NT$1 million and trophies to representatives of the 15 winning Startups (adi15 digital startups). The Ceremony also featured Startups presentations sessions with venture capitalists, aiming to foster investment and market collaboration to drive growth opportunities.
ADI launched the ‘Incentive Program for Digital Startups’ in 2023, calling for applications from software and information service startups with proven market achievements and high growth potential. This year’s call for applications started on January 22, 2024, and received an enthusiastic response with nearly 100 applications. After a three-month review process, 15 digital startups were ultimately selected.
During the introduction of the Incentive Program for Digital Startups, Jang-Hwa Leu, Director General of ADI, emphasized that this program is distinct from other ministerial awards, focusing on startups with proven achievements and potential. This year's award-winning startups align with global AI development trends and the three digital initiatives proposed by MODA, demonstrating remarkable potential for expansion into international markets.

In his opening speech, Minister Huang remarked that the world's attention is focused on the digital economy, with AI-related industries being a key point of interest. This year's adi15 digital startups have demonstrated unique core technologies and innovative business models, including applications in AI, integrated software and hardware, digital resilience, and cybersecurity. MODA will continue to provide assistance, matchmaking, and international linkage resources to fully support the development of digital startups, helping them expand and succeed on the global stage.
ADI will continue to assist the adi15 digital startups in promoting their innovative results and brand image, in order to drive the potential business opportunities for digital startups to expand into the international market. This will also help to accelerate the competitiveness of digital startups and attract investment capital. ADI also hopes to encourage more teams to develop innovative digital solutions that have market-applicable value or social commonality, to help various industries with digital transformation and continue to drive the development of the digital economy.
