ADI Leads Taiwanese Companies at Thailand Smart City Expo, Highlighting Taiwan’s Digital Innovation and Global Business Opportunities

The Administration for Digital Industries (ADI) concluded a successful trade mission to the Thailand Smart City Expo (Nov. 3-7, 2025), with 17 Taiwanese companies achieving major milestones. The delegation, led by Deputy Director-General Ya-Ping Huang, launched two local PoC projects and held over 20 business matchmaking meetings with 53 international companies, reinforcing Taiwan's role as a key partner in Southeast Asia's digital transformation.

Innovation on Display at Taiwan Pavilion
ADI set up the Taiwan Pavilion, spotlighting Taiwan's innovations in Smart Environment, Smart Applications, Smart Living, and Smart Manufacturing. The Pavilion attracted global attention, particularly from major Thai firms such as AppliCAD PLC and Cybertracx Co., Ltd., while providing a platform for bilateral collaborations through dedicated pitch sessions and a matchmaking zone.

PoC Projects Demonstrate Impact
The mission's standout moments included the launch of two significant PoC projects in collaboration with local partners:
•Smart Parking in Bangkok: DataYoo introduced an AI-powered Smart Parking Management System at Rajamangala University, optimizing campus parking with image recognition and IoT.
•Intelligent Agriculture in Chanthaburi: AI-RIDER deployed an AI-driven Agricultural Management System at Suan Pa-Cha Na Farm, leveraging satellite imagery and AI to improve farming efficiency and sustainability.

Strengthening Bilateral Digital Ties
Beyond the expo, the delegation engaged with key industry players like Delta Electronics (Thailand) and the Thai IoT Association, paving the way for future cooperation.
Looking ahead, ADI remains committed to supporting Taiwan’s digital sector by facilitating international collaborations and expanding its global footprint.
