1.To provide commercial satellite operators with radio frequencies they need, competent authorities prepare radio frequencies for commercial satellite according to Article 52 of the Telecommunications Management Act and announce their release according to Article 54 of the same act.

2.Since November 8, 2022, radio frequency bands for fixed-satellite service communication have been open for application. These frequency bands include 10.7 GHz to 12.7 GHz, 13.75 GHz to 14.5 GHz, 17.7 GHz to 20.2 GHz, and 27.5 GHz to 30.0 GHz. Applicants can get the application form from "商用衛星通信頻率開放專區". "商用衛星通信頻率開放專區" will also provide information of applications and review results.
