Lee emphasized that no matter what time of day the registration is done, people will receive the tax surplus payment after the special budget has completed the statutory procedures and announced by the president. The registration website will provide services for at least 6 months. People do not need to worry nor rush to register at once.
Lee explained again that people who use ATM cash or visit post office do not need to register online. In addition, specific groups of people also do not need to register online first.
The government will not send text messages or emails to notify people of the payment or registration information, nor will the government call to request a transfer to an ATM or Internet bank.
