In response to the Smart Taiwan 2.0 initiative, we are establishing a secure and compliant AI testing environment for government use.
I. About Us
In alignment with the "Smart Taiwan 2.0" initiative and to address the three primary pain points—hesitancy to adopt, high costs, and limited applications—encountered by agencies when integrating AI, the Ministry of Digital Affairs (moda) has launched the "Government AI Trial Platform (TryAI)." This is a dedicated environment provided for government agencies to conduct AI testing, model evaluation, and application development, assisting public servants in enhancing administrative efficiency within a secure and compliant framework.
II. Core Features
We provide a one-stop AI solution to meet needs ranging from basic clerical work to advanced development:
- Diverse Model Marketplace (Multi-LLMs)
- Aggregates over 32 mainstream domestic and international large language models.
- Includes commercial models (Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) as well as open-source and domestic models (Llama, TAIDE, Gemma).
- Implements rolling updates to ensure agencies have access to the latest technologies.
- General-Purpose AI Bots for Government Use
- Features over 20 built-in common AI bots available for immediate use.
- Popular applications: drafting official documents, generating transcripts, summarizing meeting minutes, writing press releases, and creating presentations.
- Customization & Deployment
- Exclusive Training: Agencies can upload their own documents to train AI specialists proficient in specific regulations and business operations.
- API Integration: Providing APIs that allow agencies to interface their trained bots with internal systems for testing.
- Containerization: Supporting Docker packaging, allowing services to be deployed to an agency's private servers or cloud environments.
III. Security & Compliance
Ensuring no leakage of public service data with the highest standards of cybersecurity:
- Strict Identity Verification: Implementing white-list control and FIDO/Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA); all accounts require review and approval before activation.
- Independent Data Isolation: Each agency is provided with an independent containerized environment and can only access its own uploaded data, ensuring that confidential information remains strictly segregated.
- Encrypted Transmission: Utilizing Server-to-Server connections and AES-256 encryption throughout the entire transmission process.
- Model Security Reviews: All models undergo evaluation by the AI Evaluation Center (AIEC). Models originating from the People's Republic of China (PRC) are strictly prohibited. One year of audit trails is maintained for traceability and accountability.

V. Application Eligibility and Resource Quota
- Eligible Entities: The Five Yuan (branches of government) and central second-level agencies under the Executive Yuan.
- Resource Quota:
- Each agency is allocated 100 user accounts.
- Limited Token resources are provided; once exhausted, supplemental quota packages can be procured through the "joint supply contract." Furthermore, agencies can obtain rewarded Token quotas through the platform's incentive mechanism by sharing successful case studies or self-trained AI Bots.
